We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to drive sales and expand our market presence in the Western United States.
Position Summary:
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for promoting and selling Mitsui Seiki’s products and services within the assigned territory. This role requires an individual with a strong background in CNC machine tool sales, who excels in developing customer relationships, managing key accounts, and implementing strategic sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute machine tool sales strategies to increase market share and revenue within the assigned region.
- Engage directly with prospective and existing clients, conduct technical product presentations, and manage the entire sales process from lead generation to order finalization.
- Collaborate with the distribution network, providing training and support to enhance distributor effectiveness.
- Work closely with engineering and applications teams to assess customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Regularly visit customer facilities to address engineering and service-related sales opportunities.
- Participate in trade shows, sales promotions, and marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility.
- Prepare and present proposals that align with customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and track progress toward annual targets.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and support.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of five years of CNC machine tool sales experience.
- Strong track record in sales through OEMs or high-end distributor networks.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent industry experience.
- Valid Driver’s License is required
