We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to drive sales and expand our market presence in the Midwestern United States.

Position Summary
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for promoting and selling Mitsui Seiki’s products and services within the assigned territory. This role requires an individual with a strong background in CNC machine tool sales, who excels in developing customer relationships, managing key accounts, and implementing strategic sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute machine tool sales strategies to increase market share and revenue within the assigned region.
  • Engage directly with prospective and existing clients, conduct technical product presentations, and manage the entire sales process from lead generation to order finalization.
  • Collaborate with the distribution network, providing training and support to enhance distributor effectiveness.
  • Work closely with engineering and applications teams to assess customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Regularly visit customer facilities to address engineering and service-related sales opportunities.
  • Participate in trade shows, sales promotions, and marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility.
  • Prepare and present proposals that align with customer requirements.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and track progress toward annual targets.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and support.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years of CNC machine tool sales experience.
  • Strong track record in sales through OEMs or high-end distributor networks.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or five years equivalent industry experience.
  • Valid Driver’s License is required.

Work Schedule & Location

  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, with additional availability as required.
  • License/Certification: Valid Driver’s License (required).
  • Work Location: Candidate to reside within the Midwestern sales territory. Remote position with 50–75% travel required.
