5-Axis Machining Centers with Jig Borer Precision

The latest development to complement our traditional Jig Borer, Jig Grinder, and larger Jig Mill lines is the new Vertex type III series.
These high speed, ultra-precision 5-axis machining centers allow for more complete production of precision hardened cavities and cores, including contour milling, boring, drilling and tapping. The machines can be readily adapted for both electrode and jig grinding types of applications.
The line includes three foundational machines to satisfy a broad range of small to midsize workpieces:
Vertex 55X III with travels X-550mm, Y-600mm, Z-500mm. A-axis (tilt table) +15 ~ -105deg.; C-axis rotary 360 deg infinite. Cutting feed 48m/min
Max work size 450mm dia x 325mm H. Table load 350kg.
Spindles are offered from 15000RPM to 30000RPM. ATC 40, 60, 180 tools.
Vertex 75X III with travels X-750mm, Y-800mm, Z-700mm. A-axis (tilt table) +15 ~ -105deg.; C-axis rotary 360 deg infinite. Cutting feed 48m/min
Max work size 650mm dia x 325mm. Table load 500kg.
Spindles are offered from 15000RPM to 30000RPM. ATC 40, 60, 180 tools.
Vertex 100X III with travels X-1000mm, Y-1000mm, Z-750mm. A-axis (tilt table) +15 ~ -105deg.; C-axis rotary 360 deg infinite. Cutting feed 48m/min
Max work size 1250mm dia x 850mm. Table load 600kg.
Spindles are offered from 15000RPM to 25000RPM. ATC 40, 60, 130 tools.
